Been graduated from Hongik University (Seoul, Korea) majoring in industrial design, had designed product design working with Samsung Electronics, LG electronics Inc., Johnson Controls Inc., as well as graphic design working as an independent designer. Been Kim has been selected one of Next Generation Design Leader(NGDL) of the year by KIDP(Korea Industrial Design Promotion) in 2006 and 2009.
Been has also received certificate of WDLnet Academy, which supports upcoming women designer Leader.
Been has also received IF design award in product design category in 2006. |
Objective

Design solves our daily problems or gives hints; it also suggests new life style and also gives people a new hope and desire in our future. It connects people to people, people to objects, objects to object and the pieces of inspirations are woven together to form our spiritual connection. This idea associates with the one of Buddha who emphasized the communication between people and humbleness.
Thus, I will inspire people and provide a chance to directly communicate with each other by collecting design vision and works together.
